Mahalo has been around since May 30, 2007, so this is no fly-by-night operation. Mahalo offers several different ways to help your fellow web searchers.

With Mahalo Answers you ask and answer questions. Leave a tip and get paid a tip. Provide the best answer and get a bigger tip. Tweet it out and earn a little bit. There is a 10 tweet a day limit, though.

According to the site, Mahalo Tasks are "small pieces of writing the editors need completed". Build a page or complete a guide. How-to's and teamwork also is needed.

Have a Question? Ask Weegy

What is Weegy? According to the site, Weegy is a community-based answer system belonging to all of us. Ask a question, inquire about a problem and Weegy will give you an answer. And why would I be telling you about this? I am getting to that.

Weegy is an expert-based system. People like you and me are the behind-the-curtain Weegy experts. Pay is not extravagant, but it is fair. For every question you assist with you will earn 20¢ with a minimum payout of $20. Much better than some similar services I have tried that want to pay 3¢ for your time with a minimum payout of $100. I have received one payout since joining in November 2008 and am nearing a second. Now, to be fair, I have not logged on to Weegy often causing the delay in the second payout.

When I first joined Weegy there was a restriction of 10:00 am - 4:00 pm for logging in. This restriction is removed after you reach your first $20 payout. It took about two months to reach my first payout, but others have reported a faster turnaround. So, your mileage may vary on this.

Weegy is simple, too. Just log in and click on Expert (upper right hand side). You may open another browser window and go about your business surfing the web, checking mail, blogging, etc. When Weegy has a question for you the browser page for Weegy will pop to the forefront and, if your sound is on, you will here a ding. You have 15 seconds to accept or decline the question. Always click accept so you can read over the question. If this is something you cannot or do not want to answer, then simply scroll down and click on the "pass to another expert" option.
